SUMMER 2022 TRIP SUMMARY

July 28-Aug 15
$3200 (estimate, final cost TBD)
Application Deadline: Jan 2

Dedicate a portion of your summer to living and discipling among the people of Croatia. You will work with Croatian believers who are passionate about gospel-reconciliation. As an expression of this, while in Croatia you will assist these believers in planning and running a summer camp for under-resourced children from Roma villages.

Applicants should be strong in their walk with God, able to share their faith with Croatians their age, willing to enter a new cultural context as a learner, and excited to engage with kids.

Read below for more information about the trip!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Once accepted, you will receive support from your trip leaders to begin raising funds, followed by an in-person, short-term missions orientation in April. This is a superb learning opportunity meant to establish team unity and to holistically equip you for your travels. The orientation date for 2023 is April 14-16. Mark your calendars!

TRAINING &
SERVICE

Come alongside our partners in Croatia to invest in the lives of Roma kids by helping to run a week-long overnight camp. Fun activities include sharing Bible stories, hikes, meals, and more. You will learn how to minister to a marginalized people group in a sustainable, empowering environment. This is a special opportunity to demonstrate Christ's love through character, testimony, and service.

SPIRITUAL
FORMATION

Develop spiritual friendships with Croatian believers and your traveling team. As a part of the trip, Navigator staff will come alongside you to process your experiences and your walk with God, as well as lead you in Bible study. Your short-term contribution enhances the long-term efforts to see generations of believers among the Croatians and the Roma.

CROSS-CULTURAL EXPOSURE

Explore the capital city of Zagreb and experience a location where three cultures collide (American, Croatian & Roma). Allow God access to shape and mold you as you trust and follow him in an environment different from your own. As you immerse yourself in another culture and learn alongside our Croatian partners who have been ministering there for 30+ years, your worldview and ministry skills will be challenged and developed.
