International Campus Partnerships
Dedicate a portion of your summer to living and discipling among the people of Croatia. You will work with Croatian believers who are passionate about reconciliation, justice and healing. During your time in Croatia, you will help plan and run a summer camp for under-resourced children from Roma villages.
If you enjoy working with children, sharing the gospel and your testimony spontaneously and are flexible, this could be the trip for you! You will grow in teamwork, planning and running a camp from start to finish and working in a cross-cultural environment.
During your time in Croatia, you can expect to participate in the following activities:
Planning for the summer camp
Summer camp activities (art, sports, small groups, sharing testimonies)
One on one time with staff and your peers
Being immersed in Croatian culture will challenge your worldview as you develop long-lasting relationships with the children at the camps as well as with local believers and staff members. Capture a glimpse of God’s heart for the nations as you share life with people who do not know Jesus and are under-resourced. Expect your heart to become more aligned with God’s as you partner with the work He is doing in Croatia.

Who are the Roma?
“Commonly called “Gypsies,” the Roma are Europe’s largest minority. Throughout Europe the Roma suffer disproportionately from poverty, illiteracy and lack of to basic services. Often treated like second-class citizens, many Roma opt out of the formal economy and disengage from politics entirely, believing - sometimes rightly - that these avenues offer no viable hope for bettering their lives.” (Huffington Post - Roma Challenges)
