GHANA
SHORT-TERM MISSIONS TRIP

SUMMER 2026 TRIP SUMMARY
4 weeks in June
Cost: $5100
Application Deadline: February 28, 2026
There is an incredible movement of the gospel in Ghana. This trip is an exciting opportunity to learn principles and strategies for discipleship that will help you better serve God through your own vocation and calling, wherever you live. You will practice initiating with Ghanaian students at the University of Ghana–Legon in Accra in order to connect new students to the ministry and encourage current students in their walk with God. You will work with the staff to plan events and attend a developmental missions conference alongside students and staff!
Applicants should be able to recognize what God has done and is doing in their own lives. They should be eager to learn new perspectives, even when those perspectives challenge old, cherished traditions. They should be able maintain a positive attitude when uncomfortable, both physically and emotionally.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Once accepted, you will receive support from your trip leaders to begin raising funds, followed by an in-person, short-term missions orientation in April. This is a superb learning opportunity meant to establish team unity and to holistically equip you for your travels.
We will be partnering with the Blue Ridge region for this trip, so you will also gain exposure to staff and students from Navigator ministries in a different part of the country! Together, you will be provided with coaching and guidance in how to raise funds to prepare for the trip.
